David Berg
VP Business Development and Strategy at Behr & Associates Inc

David Berg is a partner at Behr & Associates Inc., a boutique investment bank in Toronto, Canada. As Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Behr, David is responsible for assisting small to-mid cap technology and clean technology companies to accelerate go to market using leveraged methods (OEM, ODM, Distribution, Partnerships etc.) with a focus on American and European markets. In addition to providing operational horse power to portfolio companies David and the firm work to provide creative financing alternatives for companies (tax structures, government programs, angel investments, private placement and institutional).

Unlike traditional bankers in this field David started out in industry as a product manager with over 12 years of experience bringing hardware, software and clean technologies to market. David has expertise working with application & network security, network infrastructure, wireless, location based services, collaboration, mobile communications and emerging clean technologies. David combines strong business acumen with the ability to conceive profitable and efficient technical solutions. Strengths in building high performance organizations, leading changes, building client relations, resulting in improved productivity, cost savings and most importantly, revenue.


James Christopher
Principal at James Christopher Consulting

Focused on growth, James works with a wide range of organizations on projects which help to create a unique market advantage for clients. He focuses on product offerings, performance and project / organizational funding. James prefers to call his efforts working on the “making money” opportunities versus the “saving money” issues facing organizations today. His background is in the technology industry, and particularly, in the creative, communication and collaboration solutions sector for the past 25 years.

Knowledge and information is at the heart of James’ mission. His projects include: assessments, coaching, and mentoring to understand what an organization needs. James then develops customized implementation and support programs aligned to client requirements. James is currently developing funding models for growth.
